Peter Rosenbluth has worked throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America on a range of artisanal mining issues from improved environmental management to the professionalization of informal mining operations. He has helped to create and lead several multistakeholder initiatives focused on reforming mineral sector governance and ensuring that land use planning processes respect the interests of artisanal and small-scale gold miners. He is particularly interested in the design and use of pilot projects to create evidence for scaling up responsible ASGM practices. Peter holds degrees in geology, economics and environmental governance from McGill and York Universities.
