Saidou is an economist and investment specialist with more than 20 years of experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Macroeconomics and Development Management and his experience has focused on the development and management of projects and programs in the humanitarian, livelihoods, agricultural development and environmental sectors. He has significant experience in livelihood development, food security, Mining and Artisanal and Small scale Gold Mining (ASGM). Saidou has worked on the establishment of mechanisms for facilitating access to finance, development of agricultural extension programs, extension of production and environmental technologies, and integration of ICTs in development sectors.
Prior to joining AGC, he worked in Burkina Faso, Ghana South Africa, Kenya, Mali and Niger with long term assignments in South Africa, Europe and the United States.
